NAIROBI:
Six men alleged to have participated in the Garissa University attack
were Tuesday arraigned in court. They appeared in court alongside 12
others also said to have been committed terrorism-related crimes. The
Garissa University College attack suspects were Mohamed Surow, Osman
Dakane, Mohamed Abikar, Hassan Aden, Sahal Hussein and Tanzanian
national Rashid Charles Mberesero alias Rehani Dida. Mberesero was later
taken to Garissa by Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) detectives for
interrogation.
The six were brought to Milimani Law Courts shortly after 12pm under
heavy security and spent close to an hour in the basement before they
were arraigned in court where the prosecution
